I took E to the pediatrician this morning for his 2 month check-up and immunizations. He received FIVE shots and one oral for Rotavirus. Ugh. Poor thing. He handled it like a champ, and I am proud to say that so did mom. I did not cry this time around and I am not sure why. I still felt as bad as when P got her shots, but since I have been through it before I think it was easier. Plus, he IS a boy, so SHOULDN'T he be able to handle getting those measely little shots? haha! As if...men are worse than girls about that stuff...sorry guys.
He cried and whimpered for a bit after the pokes, but I think that was because he was hungry. My little guy is not so little. Since his 12 day check-up he has gained 6 pounds 2 ounces and grew 2 full inches. Wowzers. I knew he had gotten bigger, but didn't think it was that much bigger. No wonder my boobs are so damn BIG.
His current stats at 2 months:
Weight: 13 pounds 14 1/2 ounces
Height: 23 3/4 inches
Head circ.: 16 inches
I am going to administer a bit of Tylenol and let him sleep all day. I think that is pretty much all he wants to do, anyhow.
P spent the night at Gammy and Papa's. It was easier to take E alone today, and after the appt. I was able to run a couple of errands. P had a great time with Gammy and is currently on her way home to hopefully take a long nap. She has been up passed her bedtime three nights in a row and needs to rest. That is when they grow, ya know?! :) at least so I am told....
