Whoa SNOW!

I thought it was supposed to be spring?! Is the old saying that March comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb? I hope it is true and that we are going to have better weather soon and that it will continue. Even though I have been homebound with the newborn, now that I finally feel comfortable going out I CAN'T! at least not today...:)

We have received probably 12 inches of snow so far and it isn't quitting. There is this huge mass of snow just hanging from our roof. I have no idea how it is staying there. It looks like our house has an eyebrow.

Hubby was out shoveling the driveway last night and he had P helping him with a little garden shovel. It was far too cute. She was in her big pink marshmallow snowsuit with the furry trimmed hood and her pink boots, and her little shovel. She was scooping up the snow and throwing it like daddy was with his big shovel. Hubby could have used that little shovel because his efforts were squashed with the downpour we got overnight. The neighbors were using their snowblower and doing everyone's driveways on the street today - there is noway a person could shovel alone - it would take all day. What nice people! And, we barely talk to them! The funny thing is we are half their age. I was sitting on couch nursing E and watching them, and hubby was sitting in the chair covered in a blanket watching TV. What a pair! At least the young neighbors next door moved their car for them. We just sat and watched and said we will need to do something nice for them. Talk about lazy. haha!
