Hubby wants me to pick up my guitar again. I bought a Fender two years ago and have been meaning to teach myself how to play, but I just don't have it on my current list of priorties. Well, I am putting it on there. The hard part is going to find the time to sit and practice. I wish I had a friend who could give me free mini-lessons, but everyone seems to be busy or not musically-inclined or if they are musically-inclined they do not play guitar.
I want to be able to sing and play children's songs...maybe even write some of my own. That sounds like so much fun to me. My sis-in-law has sent P a couple of CDs from Gemini and they have great songs they sing to guitar and other instruments. P loves them and Laurie Berkner. It'd be great to teach myself their stuff so I could sing to my kids.
P freaked out when I brought the guitar out. Like crying freaked out, not like excited. Hopefully she was just having a day.....or this could be difficult.
