Storms

Last night was frightful! There were some heavy thunderstorms and the tornado alarm kept going off. My dog Piper kept crying and I came downstairs to calm him. He wanted me to sleep with him downstairs, but c'mon. I probably would have, but Ethan is still in my room waking up every 2 hours after like 1 or 2am. So, all the humans in my house, except me, were sleeping soundly. I thought for sure P would wake up, but she slept right through everything.

Needless to say, I am making some very strong coffee this morning. Hubby and E are still sleeping, P is watching Mickey Mouse and ordering snacks from our in-home waitress. She is singing the clubhouse song - unbelievable that she is doing these things called growing up and learning...what's up? :)

I was really worried about my garden. P and I planted tomatoes (red and yellow), peppers (red, orange and the banana peppers Daryl gave us), peas, green beans and herbs. I looked out this morning and the plants are just fine and the peas or gb (can't remember which row is which) that are coming up are even bigger today! Planting from seed is so exciting! Now the sun is out and the plants should really be happy having an equivalint to a Thanksgiving Meal and then a light dessert. ha!
